To develop your garden it is really helpful for me that you have some ideas about what you want in your garden – or perhaps more importantly, what you don’t want!

For instance if you want a redesign but hate the idea of a pond or water feature, it is as well to tell me at the outset, rather than have me incorporate one only to have to remove it from the plans later. Also it is good to work out how much you are prepared to spend on it, as this obviously has a huge bearing on what we can hope to achieve.

I could design you a fabulous plan, but if it is way beyond your means it will always be a pipe dream and we really need to be very realistic from the outset.
