About Amanda

My name is Amanda and I am The Singing Gardener.

I love to sing have been singing all my life.

Initially, I was a part of a local amateur operatic society and have participated in various shows.

During my school and college life, I played with bands and sang at various events.

In April 2009, I became an activity coordinator in a care home and sang regularly for the residents which they loved! 

I enjoy being out in the garden, planting flowers and watching them flourish. You may be able to tell from browsing my website that I adore Sunflowers.

I decided to combine my love of Singing and Gardening to bring to you... The Singing Gardener.

As The Singing Gardener I love to sing, bringing joy and happiness to the many people I meet.

I have sung in many shows and performed in care homes across the Wisbech and surrounding area, as well as at charity and public events.

During the current global pandemic I have been singing and keeping people entertained in their homes collaborating with the Virtual Village Hall with my online performances.

I have all the equipment needed, and am fully insured and licensed to perform.

Themes I perform vary from decades such as The Fab 50s to the Sensational 70s and from Musicals to Feel Good Fridays. Sprinkle in a little bit of Eurovision, Swinging 60s, Wartime and Rememberance or even Christmas and I am sure to entertain you with my 650+ songs.
